Responsibilities and expectations of the Supervisor
Sales & Management
Supervising and participating in the sales activities in accordance with the company policy, guaranteeing that the sales team complies with the service model (reception, sales, passage at the cash register, ).
Have good product knowledge and knowledge of the prices of the items.
Implement measures to stimulate and optimize side sales.
The objectives of the sales team, assigned by the Store Manager, analyze and follow up on their realization.
Pass on the daily sales results, stock, best sellers and customer comments to the Store Manager
Guarantee the perfect visual image of the store and the showcases by respecting the guidelines of the Visual Merchandiser.
Development and workforce management
Organize integration programs so that new hires can integrate quickly and effectively
Organize staff training programs to improve product knowledge, customer service, visual merchandising, sales techniques, and inventory management. Ensure that all tasks are carried out in an effective and effective manner.
Animating the daily meetings to strengthen enthusiasm, motivation and involvement of the sales staff
Managing all incidents on the shop floor in a quick and professional manner
Operational
Apply company policies and all procedures.
Ensure that all guidelines are followed in the store (including rules related to health, safety, loss prevention, personnel policy, cash management).
Help the store manager with the elaboration of the schedules to always ensure that the sales floor is sufficiently staffed and that all operational activities can take place.
Actively participate in the inventory
Organizing the classification of the goods at the end of the day to meet visual standards of the store
Open and / or close the store
Cooperate in all daily activities
If necessary Be vigilant and establish procedures to prevent theft and inventory differences.
Key Requirements
ü Relevant retail management experience (at least 3 years)
ü Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization and multitasking skills
ü Strong interpersonal and communications skills
ü Fluent in Dutch and English
ü A constant desire for improvement
