Subsidiary Director of Facilities Services

- Build relationships with Facilities department managers and office managers to support and identify facility opportunities, including but not limited to building enclosure consulting, structural systems consulting, forensic investigations, field performance testing, property condition assessments (PCAs), and code compliance and consulting services.
- Monitor and track subsidiary facility finances, marketing strategies, resources, standardization, and training.
- Evaluate market opportunities, trends, and successes in other regions.
- Maintain contact with office and facility department managers and staff to emphasize the importance of local marketing efforts.
- Seek project leads and marketing opportunities.
- Collaborate with local staff and regional business development managers to track opportunities.
- Target trade association conferences to seek out project opportunities.
- Lead and coordinate regional facility opportunities.
- Assess scope of work and assign appropriate personnel.
- Coordinate resources to execute projects effectively.
- Respond to and support resource allocation for projects.
- Ensure timely submission of proposals and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs).
- Promote teamwork and awareness of company-wide facilities resources.
- Monitor and review workload to ensure staffing levels, experience, and technical expertise are adequate.
- B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB accredited) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related field from an ABET-accredited institution preferred.
- 15+ years of related experience, including 10+ years in a supervisory role.
- Professional Engineer (PE), Structural Engineer (SE), Registered Architect (RA), or the ability to obtain these within six months.
