We are in search of a Subcontract Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Management and administrative control of Subontracts, and the comprehensive relationship with them in all areas of the project.
  • Analysis of project scopes, tenders for works and services, price analysis, subcontracting, and subcontract follow-up from its inception to completion.
  • Subcontract certifications. Monitoring of tasks performed in coordination with other areas.
  • Manage Scope Management, keep a record of COs, and ensure their communication to all involved to control that all changes are detected, recorded, negotiated, agreed upon, carried out, and certified.
  • Coordinate work with the Cost Control, Planning, and Quantity Control teams, as well as with the other Departments involved in the project's execution.
  • Management of subcontracts for civil, mechanical, and electromechanical works, rental of machinery and equipment, contracting of complementary services necessary for the development of the work. Permanent coordination with subcontracted companies.
  • Control the certification with the Client to ensure certification according to the Contract, incorporating subsequent agreements/changes.
  • Formal communication with subcontractors, assembly and follow-up of certificates, reception of claims, analysis and evaluation of contracts, analysis of additional items, and negotiations.
  • Administration of the measurement and certification process, coordination with supervision/inspection of works and services for the verification of progress, preparation, follow-up, and updating of the digital files of the measurements, and generation of management indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with the procedures associated with the sector.


Requirements:


  • Degree in Engineering.
  • High level of English.
  • Extensive experience in refinery, petrochemical, or energy.
  • At least 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on subcontractors and proven experience in all project phases.
