Job Description
European XFEL is an international non-profit company located in the Hamburg area in Germany. It operates a 3.4 km-long X-ray laser, which produces X-rays of unique quality for studies in physics, chemistry, the life sciences, materials research and other disciplines. The Position
- Cleaning and assembly of vacuum components in a cleanroom environment
- Maintainance and update of the inventory management system
- Assistance during mechanical installation of beam transport systems
- Supporting various activities in the vacuum lab
- Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master Degree program in physics, engineering or similar discipline
- Interest in mechanics and vacuum technology
- Knowledge in use of MS-Office
- Independent way of working
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
