We are looking for a Structured Finance & M&A Analyst to join our Madrid HQ. Fluency in English is mandatory. You'll collaborate with international finance teams to support the company's growth through robust financial analysis, modeling, and transaction execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the structuring and execution of project and corporate financings, including long-term loans, bridge facilities, refinancing, and capital markets instruments.
- Assist in M&A transactions, covering both acquisitions and disposals across various markets.
- Conduct financial modeling and valuation for financing, M&A, and business development purposes-ensuring model robustness and scenario analysis.
- Contribute to business development initiatives: market analysis, feasibility studies, auction participation, and PPA structuring.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial materials.
Experience:
1-2 years of relevant experience in an IPP, investment banking, or financial advisory firm, preferably within the energy or infrastructure sector, in a Structured Finance and M&A or similar analytical role.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong academic background, ideally with a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Engineering. Additional training in financial modeling is highly valued.
- Solid command of Excel and accounting principles. Experience in developing financial models for energy or infrastructure projects is a strong plus; VBA skills are a bonus.
- Excellent analytical and organizational capabilities, with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Fluent English is mandatory. Additional languages, particularly French or German, are an asset.
Primary location is Madrid, with availability for international travel.
