Structural Technician

We are seeking a Structural Technician to join an innovative consulting practice and play a key role in Ireland's advanced precast concrete projects. Renowned for our expertise in precast concrete design and our use of BIM tools, we deliver high quality, efficient structural solutions from project conception to completion.

You will not just be calculating loads; you will be generating CNC ready files for automated factories and solving logic clashes before they hit the site.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D models using Allplan (training provided if needed)
• Produce detailed sections, elevations, and shop drawings for fabrication and construction
• Prepare Bills of Quantities and technical specifications for precast elements
• Conduct occasional site visits and contribute to technical report writing
• Deliver drafting and documentation efficiently in a structured, fast paced environment

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Structural Engineering, or a related field
• 1-3 years' experience in structural drafting or technician roles (consultancy or precast concrete experience preferred)
• Proficient in 3D design software (Allplan; training provided if needed)
• Strong technical knowledge of traditional and modern construction methods
