Job Description
Overview

We're looking for a Structural Technician with a keen eye for detail and a passion for building design to join our client's dynamic team. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality technical drawings for logistics, industrial, warehouse, and commercial projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on a wide range of fast-paced and technically challenging developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD
  • Support the design team in delivering efficient and buildable structural solutions
  • Assist in the preparation of general arrangement and detailed construction drawings
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other technicians across disciplines
  • Maintain drawing standards and ensure models are coordinated with other design teams
  • Contribute to project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and contractors
Skills & Experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (essential)
  • Experience with Revit or a willingness to develop Revit skills (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of structural detailing in steel and concrete
  • Previous experience working on logistics, industrial, warehouse, or commercial buildings is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills
  • A methodical and proactive approach to problem-solving
Qualifications
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field)
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience
