ATG are working with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Dublin, delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality engineering solutions across Ireland and internationally. Their diverse portfolio includes residential, commercial, healthcare, educational, and infrastructure projects.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join their Dublin office.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analysis of structural systems for a variety of building types using Eurocodes and relevant Irish/UK standards.
- Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, and construction documentation.
- Conduct structural assessments and site inspections.
- Collaborate with architects, M&E engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, and structural analysis tools (e.g. TEDDS, Robot, SCIA, ETABS).
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and project specifications.
- Support junior engineers and participate in design reviews.
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Level 8 or above) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered or working toward Chartership with Engineers Ireland or similar (e.g., ICE).
- 3+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering design.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry design.
- Proficiency with industry software (AutoCAD, Revit, structural analysis tools).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
