Position Type:

The role of Strategy & Business Modelling Consultant at BTS:

In this role, you will:

  1. Work within a small internal team to partner with leaders from some of the world's leading corporations - Global 100 and 500 companies - to learn how their business works and what their strategies are.
  2. Conduct research and utilise client data to conceptualise and model the relevant strategic aspects in simulations used in our client solutions. Each simulation is built from scratch and is entirely bespoke to fit the needs of our clients.
  3. Present the concept to the client, participate in the simulation build and broader project management, and be part of the team that delivers the simulation with the client participants.
  4. Work on multiple projects across different industries and collaborate with various internal teams. Travel approximately 20% of the time when delivering programs. This role operates within a team-based, entrepreneurial culture that emphasizes freedom and responsibility, enabling you to contribute from day one.

Is this for you?

You are highly analytical-ideally with a PhD or a strong degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics-and curious about new technologies like artificial intelligence.

You can switch from analytical thinking to creative facilitation ideas seamlessly.

You communicate effectively, summarise complex concepts clearly, and can work efficiently at pace within a small team liaising directly with clients.

You can focus for hours, sometimes independently, to complete the business modelling required for simulations.

And you enjoy engaging with colleagues and clients alike, bringing a positive attitude to your work environment.

A good degree is essential; a PhD is a plus. We welcome candidates from diverse academic backgrounds and subject areas.
