Job Description

DNA Recruit is partnering with a leading Global Shopper Marketing Agency, renowned for delivering insight-driven campaigns that connect brands with shoppers across physical and digital environments.

The agency is expanding its Strategy team and looking for a talented Senior Strategist to play a key role in shaping impactful, integrated campaigns.

The Role:

As Senior Strategist, you will be responsible for developing clear, compelling strategic direction that inspires standout creative work. Acting as a key strategic partner to both clients and internal teams, you'll bring fresh thinking, strong insight, and a deep understanding of shopper behaviour to every brief. You'll work across a variety of accounts, collaborating closely with client services, creative, and data teams to deliver integrated campaigns that resonate across multiple touchpoints.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop clear, single-minded strategic platforms that drive creative excellence
  • Write inspiring creative briefs grounded in strong shopper, consumer, and category insight
  • Partner with client teams to understand business challenges and translate them into actionable strategy
  • Collaborate with creative and account teams to ensure strategic integrity throughout campaign delivery
  • Contribute to integrated campaign thinking across in-store, digital, experiential, and broader brand channels
  • Present strategic thinking confidently to senior clients and internal stakeholders
  • Stay ahead of retail, shopper, and cultural trends to bring fresh, innovative thinking to the work
  • Deliver high-quality strategic output within agreed timelines and scope
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in a strategy role within shopper marketing, retail marketing, or integrated agencies
  • Deep understanding of shopper behaviour and the retail landscape
  • Proven ability to develop insight led strategies that drive creative and commercial impact
  • Experience working across integrated channels including in-store, digital, and experiential
  • Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior clients
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with the ability to simplify complexity
  • Proactive, curious, and ideas driven mindset
