Job Description

A global management consultancy and advisory firm is expanding its Supply Chain Strategy and Business Consulting Practice, supporting clients across the Retail, Consumer Goods and FMCG sectors, including luxury, fashion, grocery, quick-service restaurants and online retail.

The firm is seeking experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Business Consultants with expertise in areas such as:

  • Supply Chain and Supply Network Planning
  • Demand, Production and Distribution Planning
  • Materials Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Inventory Planning and Policy Setting
  • Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Forecasting, Allocation and Replenishment
  • Procurement, Sourcing, Merchandising and Assortment Planning
  • Supply Chain Analytics
  • Omnichannel and Digital Fulfilment

Experience across logistics, warehouse and transport management would also be valuable, including:

  • Distribution network design and optimisation
  • Warehouse strategy, process design and operations
  • Inbound and outbound logistics
  • Transport planning, carrier and delivery management
  • Warehouse-to-store transportation
  • Last-mile delivery and reverse logistics
  • Cost-to-serve and operational performance improvement

The practice also delivers connected supply chain transformation using technologies such as:

  • Automation and robotics
  • Digital and AI-based solutions
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • Order Management Systems (OMS)
  • In-store technology
  • Real-time visibility and control tower solutions

Relevant Order-to-Cash (O2C) and customer fulfilment experience may include order management, order orchestration, customer order capture, fulfilment planning, available-to-promise, billing, collections, cash realisation and working capital improvement.

You will ideally have delivered major supply chain, logistics, warehouse, transport or O2C transformation programmes involving process redesign, operating model development, technology implementation or broader business change.

Candidates may come from a leading management consultancy, specialist supply chain consultancy, blue-chip retailer, FMCG organisation or rapidly growing online retailer.

The role offers the opportunity to work on major transformation programmes for major Retail, Consumer Goods and FMCG clients, spanning planning, fulfilment, logistics, technology and the wider connected supply chain. It also provides strong exposure to digitally enabled transformation and clear opportunities for career progression.
