The role
We are now looking for a Manager in our Strategic Projects team to take a key role in our expansion journey across Europe and more specifically at our sites in the Netherlands. You will report to our CPLO, who is heading up our Strategic Projects team, and be based out of our site in Gorredijk, with frequent travel across BeNeLux and Europe.
As Manager in our Strategic Projects team at The Nutriment Company, you will be responsible for independently driving projects on all levels within the Nutriment Company organization, from projects initiated by central management and the board to being directly involved in projects with our various business units and subsidiaries.
Key responsibilities of you may include:
Independently drive a variety of strategic projects; for example:
o Optimize gross margins through pricing and product mix shift initiatives
o Develop a category management strategy to drive product innovation and decisions across our different brands
o Lead the consolidation of production activities across sites
o Develop a breederprogram to drive brand choice
o Develop and execute on our indirect sales strategy and lead the expansion of The Nutriment Company outside of European core markets
o Assess our production and warehouse footprint and create tangible recommendations to optimize
o Assess and implement new tools and ways of working such as AI
o Support in the assessment and negotiation of group sourcing agreements
o Drive our ESG agenda
o Ensure exit readiness and group compliance
o Improve end-to-end customer experience across our brand portfolio
Work closely with and present key recommendations to executive management
Prepare and lead workshops at Managing Director meetings.
This is a critical role to drive value creation and over time there will be opportunities to rotate into commercial or operational leadership roles in our Dutch organization.
Your profile
You will be a key player in our team, driving forward the most critical strategic projects with a high exposure to executive management. As such we are looking for the following profile:
You have 3+ years of experience from management consulting, in-house project management or similar roles
You are driven, structured, and have a proven ability to deliver results independently
You have experience from working and communicating with executive stakeholders
You are a team player with a strategic mind who does not shy away from taking on operational tasks and supporting your peers outside of your direct responsibilities
You are curious and have a desire to continuously learn
You are fluent in spoken and written Dutch and English; further European languages are a plus.
