IKEA Wembley are looking to welcome a Store Assistant to our team. Bring your commitment to great customer service to IKEA Wembley as a Store Assistant, where you'll focus on customer service and selling, keeping our most-loved products available and ensuring shelves are always full, tidy, and ready to inspire every shopper who walks through our doors.

What We Offer
  • Start date of employment will be 24th and 25th August 2026.
  • Competitive hourly rate of £14.80 per hour.
  • Contract sizes available:
    • 12 hours per week, working weekend only across both day shift and evening shifts.
    • 16 hours per week over 4 days.
    • 20 hours per week over 5 days and 24 hours per week over 4 days, including day shift, evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends per month.

  • You are computer literate and able to work with technology.
  • You prioritise and organize your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.
What You'll Be Doing Day to Day
  • Provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers working across various departments throughout the day, supporting customers to find the right solutions for their life at home.
  • Be interested in the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design, keen to share this with our customers.
  • Support sales by ensuring your areas of responsibility are clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
  • Work with ladders and at height, following safety procedures to ensure efficient replenishment and maintaining high standards across the shopfloor.
