About the Stock Settlements Market Executive RoleSitting within the Operations department of Goodbody, Client Support Services incorporates Middle Office, Account Opening & Maintenance, Pension Administration, and Asset Services functions.

Stock Settlements Market Executive Accountabilities- Perform all settlement-related activities in line with established procedures and control frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to Client Asset Regulations (CAR), maintaining awareness of obligations and escalating any potential breaches promptly.
- Support the accurate and timely settlement of trades across relevant markets.
- Monitor and manage settlement cycles, including trade matching, failing trades, and exception resolution.
- Perform reconciliations and investigate breaks, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation.
- Provide a high-quality service to internal teams, custodians and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all activities are appropriately documented.
- Contribute to team performance by supporting colleagues and ensuring delivery of departmental objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date procedure manuals for all assigned tasks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external providers.
- Assist in monitoring service delivery against SLAs and support the logging/escalation of breaches where required.
- Participate in internal initiatives and projects impacting Stock Settlements processes.
- Be responsive and receptive to internal and external change initiatives.
- Escalate to Team Leader of all relevant matters whilst retaining responsibility for resolution.
- 1-3 years' experience in Financial Services or Operations would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications principally Word and Excel.
- Experience of different stockbroking functions would be an advantage.
- Third level qualification would be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Problem solving mindset with ability to investigate and resolve issues.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
