Sterility Assurance Lead

We are recruiting a Sterility Assurance Lead to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in County Waterford. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact by overseeing and developing all sterility assurance activities on site, ensuring the highest levels of contamination control and sterility. This is an initial 12 month contract with possible extension.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As the Sterility Assurance Lead you will develop and support the implementation of strategies for contamination control, media fill, environmental monitoring, decontamination, sterilisation, and depyrogenation.


• As the Sterility Assurance Lead you will lead major sterility assurance investigations and provide advice for significant projects related to sterility assurance.


• As the Sterility Assurance Lead you will review documents related to commissioning, qualification, process validation, and regulatory compliance concerning sterility assurance.


• As the Sterility Assurance Lead you will contribute to personnel qualifications programme design, training, and development related to sterility assurance.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Honours degree in Microbiology.


• Proven industry experience in sterility assurance within a pharmaceutical or related environment.


• A working knowledge and practical experience with contamination control, environmental monitoring, and sterilisation processes.
