Key job responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate their projects and recommend best practice architectures aligned with their long term business outcomes.
• Act as a trusted advisor for startups, shaping guidance based on customer priorities and adding value with AWS and partner technologies.
• Capture and share the voice of the customer to influence new feature and service roadmaps. Participate in the creation or update of technical content and reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts).
• Evangelize and educate about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience within specific technology domain areas (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting of applications and infrastructures.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies.
• Relevant technical experience and/or technical degree (Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent).
• Experience designing, developing, or operating reliable and scalable cloud native solutions, platforms, and software.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English with demonstrated ability to communicate technical choices to business and technology stakeholders.
• A passion for technology and learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within software development or Internet related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev ops perspective.
• Experience or familiarity in the startup ecosystem.
• Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS and/or AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional).
• Expertise in one or more of the following: DevOps, Containers, Big Data Solutions, Serverless, Networking, Security, Databases, IoT, AI/ML, Cloud Migration, and IT Transformation.
• Experience working in a customer facing role or a role that involved public speaking.
