This role offers a unique opportunity to lead quality assurance efforts within a dynamic Applied Machine Learning team focused on delivering AI/ML solutions at scale. You will provide technical leadership and strategic direction across engineering, QA, and data science teams, ensuring the highest standards of product reliability and process excellence. Collaboration across departments will be key as you help shape quality initiatives that align with both immediate technical needs and long-term strategic goals. Accountabilities:
- Provide technical quality leadership and mentorship to QA Engineers, Software Engineers, and Data Scientists across multiple teams.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to align on quality standards, initiatives, and scalable solutions.
- Proactively identify and mitigate quality risks before they impact deliverables.
- Own strategic execution of quality objectives, balancing long-term goals with day-to-day delivery excellence.
- Leverage industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve quality frameworks and processes.
- Champion work-life harmony and foster a culture of innovation and excellence in software quality.
- Proven problem-solver capable of independently addressing critical quality challenges.
- Experience mentoring and coaching teams on technical quality and best practices.
- Strong curiosity and dedication to scouting and adopting new technologies and methods.
- Comfortable working in a global, remote collaboration environment spanning multiple time zones.
- Preferred: Experience with AI/ML in sports or related industries is a plus.

- Competitive salary range of £92,000 to £153,000 GBP, with compensation based on experience and skills.
