We are currently seeking a highly motivated Staff Nurse RNID to join our team in Teach Saoirse, Children's Residential House, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.

Contract & Salary

Contract Type: Full Time Permanent

Salary Scale: €37,060 to €54,111 pro rata per annum.

This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.

Overview of the Post

To provide residential respite to families of children and young adults with disabilities in North Tipperary. The residential support service will be coordinated by the RRM/Service Coordinator, who will prioritise families to be involved in the service and agree with each family the type and level of support to be provided. The Nurse will be supervised by and work closely with the RRM/Service Coordinator. In order to provide a flexible support service, the Nurse will be required to work during evenings and weekends.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Valid nursing RNID qualification validated for working in the Republic of Ireland
  • Registered in the RNID of the Live Register of Nurses kept by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
  • Maintained registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland for the duration of employment, with evidence of such registration/renewal furnished annually to the Employer
  • Experience working in a person centred health or social care setting
  • Clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
  • Full clean driver's licence and willingness to drive service transport
  • Basic IT skills
  • 'D1' license an advantage or willingness to obtain a 'D' or 'D1' licence
  • Experience working with adults or children with disabilities desirable
  • Experience working within a residential or respite setting an advantage
