Staff Nurse- Endoscopy

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care. We are hiring Staff Nurse-Endoscopy to our Hospital in Galway, Ireland. (37.5 hours per week Permanent Contract)

Responsibilities

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification or equivalent nursing qualification.

• Current registration with the relevant nursing regulatory body (e.g., NMBI or NMC).

• Competent in delivering comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

• Experience in administering medications, including IV drugs, blood products, and controlled drugs, in accordance with policies.

• Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices and adherence to hospital policies and best practice guidelines.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering a high-quality service.

• Personally and professionally accountable for the delivery of patient care.

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.

• Current NMBI registration (or eligibility for registration).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Flexible approach to work patterns, including rotation across day shifts.

• Previous nursing experience in Endoscopy/Flexible Cystoscopy procedures is desirable.

• Must be registered, or eligible for registration, in the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

• Post-registration nursing experience is essential, preferably in surgical areas.
