Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are hiring Staff Nurse- Respite Services Posts for a Community located in Dublin, Ireland.

Contract: Permanent Contract

Working Hours: 20 hours per week, worked across 7 days, including evenings, weekends, and waking night shifts.

Actual salary will be pro rata based on 20 hours per week , excluding additional premiums for evenings, weekends, and waking night shifts.

Location: Balbriggan , Co. Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • Support individuals in maintaining their health, wellbeing, and independence.
  • Assist individuals in accessing appropriate healthcare services and liaise with primary care teams such as GPs, Public Health Nurses, and hospital services.
  • Promote independence, choice, dignity, and community inclusion for all individuals in care.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary respite care team.
  • Ensure all services are delivered in line with Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards and organisational values.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) is essential.
  • A third-level qualification in Nursing is required.
  • Previous experience working in disability services or residential care settings is desirable.
  • A full, clean manual driving licence is essential.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards.
