Job overview

Are you a registered nurse looking for a new challenge? If so, this is an ideal opportunity for you to join our dialysis team at Dialysis Assessment Unit.

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Registered Nurse (2 years experience post NMC registration) with haemodialysis experience - minimum 5 years dialysis experience who is interested in patient empowerment and training to help us to deliver high quality care to our patients. You need to have a passion for patient education and in home therapies. You will be responsible for patient assessments, training, discharge to home or transition to self care or shared care.

We aim to support dialysis patients in their choice of flexibility and independence, which will result in better health, fewer medications and less lifestyle restriction imposed by conventional schedules. You can expect training that will enable you to become competent in hemodialysis, and in return for your skills, enthusiasm and commitment we offer fantastic development and career opportunities and a supportive management structure to develop and achieve your potential as band 5 nurse.
