Do you wish to be part of our expanding and dynamic team? We are currently looking for enthusiastic staff nurses to join our acute cardiology team at Wycombe Hospital. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about cardiology and teamwork.
Teamwork is essential in CCU, and the ward is supported by a high level of senior nurses who will be there to support you.
CCU is a 22-bedded, fast-paced unit that specializes in cardiac care. You will have the opportunity to look after a variety of complex cardiovascular conditions.
Main duties of the jobThis is an ideal role for someone with cardiology experience, although if you are newly qualified and show a drive to learn, we are also interested in what you have to offer. You will be expected to be IV competent and able to undertake venepuncture and cannulation (or willing to learn). Undertaking immediate life support is also essential.

Person Specification Education & Qualifications- Registered Nurse (General)
- ENB 998/371 or equivalent
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- First Line Management Course
- Understanding of professional scope of practice
- Knowledge of DoH guidance on clinical governance
- Ability to manage own caseload with supervision
- Computer skills
- Self-motivated
- Specialist experience
- Experience teaching students, HCAs, and qualified staff
- Previous experience as shift/team leader
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- May be required to work in other departments if requested
- Internal rotation to nights

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, pro-rata.
