We are seeking a Staff Engineer to join our team and operate at a platform and architectural level, shaping long-term system design and scalability strategy. This role focuses on system resilience, domain modeling, and cross-service integration across a regulated multi-market environment.
Key Responsibilities- Define and evolve platform architecture and long-term system design.
- Design event-driven systems and service boundaries across domains.
- Lead architectural reviews and technical strategy discussions.
- Ensure regulatory-compliant system design and audit readiness.
- Identify systemic risks and scalability constraints.
- Drive engineering best practices and architectural governance.
- Provide mentorship across multiple teams.
- Experience designing distributed systems at scale
- Strong background in event-driven architecture
- Experience in high-load / high-throughput environments
- Track record of owning architecture across services or teams
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-heavy domains
- Background in financial systems, wallets, or compliance-heavy platforms
- Proficiency in English (at least upper-intermediate/B2 level).
- Multi-country regulated platform serving millions of active users.
- Event-driven architecture (Kafka / PubSub patterns).
- Cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, GCP-centric).
- High transaction volumes and real-money flows.
- Strong emphasis on code quality, auditability, and security.
