Contract type: Temporary Bank (Flexible weekday shifts)
Position purpose: Provide temporary administrative support across multiple NHS departments, including front of house, data entry, reception and general admin tasks. The role offers on site learning of NHS systems and processes within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide temporary administrative support across various departments.
- Assist with data entry, scheduling, secretarial tasks and communications.
- Offer frontline support to patients and staff.
- Learn NHS systems and processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Typing qualification or equivalent experience.
- Administrative work experience.
- Experience working within guidelines and policies.
- Familiarity with Epic computer system.
- Previous NHS experience is an advantage.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
- Knowledge of the Trust information systems.
- Team working ability.
- Strong communication skills (telephone, e mail, face to face).
- Organisation of own timekeeping, scheduling and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with IT packages - Microsoft Office, accurate typing.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
