Overview: Represent the consumer during the end-to-end development project (value proposition co-development with Marketing, specifications settings, product development, lifecycle management). Ensure that the targeted consumer group is satisfied when using the product. After NPI, drive corrective actions to meet project targets regarding consumer satisfaction. Contribute to reducing product portfolio complexity to meet VCP targets. Report to the Product Director on a day-to-day basis; ensure innovation projects align with strategic objectives and effectively manage cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Translate the Product Category Strategy into product project specifications; act as the product specialist for the portfolio, benchmarking competitors and analyzing gaps to optimize competitiveness.
- Co-create the Product Value Proposition with Marketing; consolidate inputs into a consumer-centric, differentiating and compelling proposition.
- Work with Marketing to consolidate the Business Case to evaluate sales impact, ROI and IGM%; optimize the product range mix (including number of SKUs).
- Collaborate with the Project Leader to represent the consumer throughout development; in partnership with PRC, design testing to validate consumer satisfaction and acceptance.
- Post-launch, loop in markets and consumers feedback (RR, VoC, etc.) with Quality post-market surveillance and Marketing to drive action plans for overall consumer satisfaction.
- During LCM, interact with the LCM team to create range improvement/extension, coordinate with the supply team on end-of-life planning, and work with DFX Project Leads to increase IGM%.
- On-time Delivery: percentage of projects completed on schedule
- Number of products launched meeting project business objectives (IGM%)
- Quality/consumer satisfaction: percentage of deliverables meeting standards, Ratings & Reviews
- Stakeholder Feedback: satisfaction with project management and Marketing
- Team Efficiency: effective resource use and process adherence
- 7+ years in product management
- Proven experience managing projects, budgets, timelines, and risks
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or related field, possibly engineering
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Strong communicator, capable of working with cross-functional teams
