YOUR IMPACT
The overall purpose of the Commercial Sales Executive role at OpenText is to help customers leverage information to grow faster and operate more efficiently in an increasingly digital world. They will assist customers in transforming and evolving their businesses to remain competitive.
The Commercial Sales Team is responsible for OpenText's Mid-Market account space, working closely with Solution Consultants and the Partner Ecosystem. This involves presenting product solutions that meet customer needs, targeting both net-new prospects and existing customers.
This role typically does not require travel.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Prospecting and identifying key decision-makers within targeted accounts.
- Building and fostering new relationships to drive direct sales.
- Serving as the point of contact, selling, and collaborating effectively with new and existing customers.

- Working collaboratively with Partners to sell into their customer base.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to identify opportunities within your focus accounts, install base, and total addressable market within your territory.
- Experience in software sales, preferably within a large corporate organization.
- Ability to quickly learn and become an expert on new products, primarily SaaS-focused.
- Understanding of strategic, tactical, and consultative selling processes.
- Clear, articulate, and confident in all forms of communication.
- Ability to motivate, recognize, and inspire peers.
