Job Description

Sports Coach - Special Needs (Autism) - Salary: £95 - £115 Per day - Job Type: Long Term.

Join us as a Sports Coach Special Needs Autism in an SEN school. We are supporting a well established SEN school in recruiting a Sports Coach. The role involves supporting students with SEMH needs, delivering engaging physical education sessions while helping them manage social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously challenge students to improve.
  • Establish and maintain pupil behaviour standards to create an orderly and productive environment.
  • Apply strong understanding of mental health challenges in children and adolescents.
  • Implement strategies to support emotional well being.
Qualifications/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Eligibility for British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Proven classroom experience or training.
