Our Recreation Team is a vibrant, close-knit community of people who thrive on connection, movement, and making a difference. From Duty Managers and Customer Service Officers to Instructors and Coordinators, our team transforms 18 Recreation Centres into welcoming, inclusive, and safe spaces-offering health, fitness, and recreation opportunities to those who need them most.

With two full size indoor courts, as well as outdoor fields, Ryde Community Sports Centre hosts a range of both indoor and outdoor sports competitions throughout the week.
About the RoleLead the operations of Ryde Community Sports Centre, driving business growth, program excellence, and community impact. You'll manage staff, budgets, compliance, and stakeholder relationships, all while championing the Y's values and safeguarding standards.
- Oversee financial planning, reporting, and budget compliance
- Develop strategic business plans and community programs
- Lead and support a high-performing team
- Drive marketing, sales, and stakeholder engagement
- Ensure compliance with risk management and safeguarding policies
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, or related field
- 3-5 years' experience in facility management
- Strong leadership, communication, and financial skills
- Knowledge of community recreation and contract management
- Valid First Aid, CPR, Police Clearance & Working with Children Check
