Job Description

Splunk ITSI Developer
£450 per day
Inside IR35
Leeds 2-3 days onsite per month
Travel and accommodation covered
3 month rolling contract

We are recruiting for an experienced Splunk ITSI Developer to join a large scale public sector programme.

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on building and optimising service monitoring solutions within an AWS cloud environment.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong hands-on experience with Splunk ITSI

  • Splunk architecture and SPL

  • Building KPIs, service definitions, glass tables and dashboards

  • Correlation searches and event analytics

  • AWS including EC2, S3, Lambda and CloudWatch

  • Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

  • Python Scripting

  • AWS Lambda and REST API integrations

  • Splunk performance optimisation and troubleshooting

  • Agile delivery experience

Desirable

  • Experience with Grafana, Datadog, Logic Monitor or New Relic

  • Public sector or secure environment experience

  • Knowledge of ITIL

Additional Information

  • Leeds based, 2 to 3 days onsite required

  • Must be eligible for UK Government Security Clearance

  • 3 month initial contract with strong extension potential
