DescriptionEnable Ireland is an equal opportunities employer and is named in the Irish Independent 150 Best Employers 2025. We are looking for a highly motivated Speech and Language Therapist - Staff Grade for our CHO 8 Meath CDNT 5 Navan / Slane team.
- Contract Type: 18 month fixed term contract
- Contract Hours: 35 hours per week
- Salary Scale: €42,384 to €61,945 pro rata per annum (subject to Long Service Increments and 2026 pay adjustments).
- Annual Leave Entitlement: 32 days pro rata per annum.
The post holder will provide a range of Speech and Language Therapy services for young people (0 18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework. Service delivery includes assessment, intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service development, conducted in a family centred approach across clinic, preschools, schools, children's homes and community settings.
Requirements- Registered or eligible for registration as a Speech & Language Therapist with the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
- Proof of statutory registration on appointment and maintenance of annual registration thereafter.
- Valid driving licence and access to own transport to serve a large geographical area.
- Experience working with children with disabilities and complex needs.
- Postgraduate experience and/or training with children with Feeding, Eating, Drinking & Swallowing (FEDS) needs.
- Experience conducting Assessment of Need assessments.
- Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
- Experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum.
- Experience with children with disabilities.
