We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Enable Ireland CDNT 2 & CDNT 7 based in Tallaght & Ballyboden.

Contract

Type: Permanent

Hours: 0.5 WTE (17.5 hrs) allocated to each CDNT or 35 hours total

Salary: €62,072 - €73,477 pro rata per annum, subject to LSI's Long Service Increments.

Annual leave: 33 days pro rata per annum.

Overview of the Post

Enable Ireland delivers children's services under the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model. As a senior member of the interdisciplinary team, you will provide Speech and Language services, including assessment and intervention to children and adolescents enrolled on the CDNT, across clinics, schools, preschools, special schools, children's homes and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
  • Plan and deliver individualized intervention programmes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
  • Provide clinical supervision to junior staff.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications & Experience

To be successful you will have:

  • Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Speech and Language Therapist Registration Board at CORU.
  • Three years full time (or equivalent) post qualification clinical experience.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-18 years with a range of disabilities or developmental delays.
  • Valid driving licence and access to own transport for service delivery across a large geographical area.
  • Postgraduate training in FEDS disorders and in autism assessment and intervention.
  • Training or experience in clinical supervision.
