Job PurposeRegent's University London aims to provide an exceptional student experience. The Specific Learning Differences & Disability Advisor will diagnose and assess Specific Learning Differences (SpLD), offer tailored one-to-one support and tutoring, and deliver disability support to students with various disabilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
You will collaborate with academic staff, professional services, and external specialists to ensure compliance with disability legislation. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic assessments for students with conditions such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and other neurodivergent conditions, developing support plans, and providing personalized support.
Applicants should have a clear understanding of, and empathy for, studying with SpLD, and experience supporting students with physical, sensory, mobility, and mental health conditions.
The role requires a recognized qualification in SpLD assessment and diagnosis, and a current practicing certificate for dyslexia tuition and diagnostic assessment at Higher Education.
Interviews are likely to be held during the week commencing 22nd September.
