We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Dr in Old Age Psychiatry to work full-time hours per week for our NHS client's team based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for an immediate start, for a short-term contract.
What will your responsibilities be?
Your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments of elderly patients to understand their mental health challenges, considering their personal history and symptoms. You will formulate individualised treatment plans tailored to each person's needs and goals.
You will also be responsible for regularly monitoring and evaluating patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimise care. Additionally, you will contribute to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of your patients. This role requires clinical expertise combined with a compassionate approach.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Full GMC license to practice
- Proven experience in relevant field
- Section 12 approval required
