Position Overview:

We are seeking two enthusiastic Specialty Doctors in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry to join our client's in-patient team in Widnes, Lancashire. This locum position offers an immediate start for a short-term contract, providing a fantastic opportunity for passionate professionals to bring their expertise to a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to evaluate patients' mental health challenges, considering personal history and symptoms.
  • Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize care.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and management strategies to ensure safety and well-being.
  • Apply clinical expertise with a compassionate approach.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Full GMC license to practice.
  • Section 12 approval.
