Job Title: Specialty Dr in Adult Psychiatry
Grade: Specialty Dr
Location: Cheadle, Cheshire
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application

We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Dr in Adult Psychiatry to join our client's inpatient team in Cheadle, Cheshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for an immediate start for a short-term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

Your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, evaluating adults to understand their mental health challenges, considering their personal history and symptoms. You will formulate individualised treatment plans tailored to each person's needs and goals. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Your role will also involve overseeing therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions. You will monitor and evaluate individuals' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimise care. Additionally, you will contribute to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring safety and well-being. This role requires clinical expertise and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • You must have a full GMC license to practice
  • Section 12
  • Proven experience in relevant field
