Job Overview

As a Total Reward Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering a compelling reward offering across McDonald's UK & Ireland. Sitting within our People team, you'll help ensure our pay, benefits, recognition and wellbeing programmes remain competitive, inclusive and aligned to our Employee Value Proposition.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and evolving our employee benefits, wellbeing and recognition programmes to ensure they remain attractive and market-competitive
  • Designing and implementing new reward initiatives that support engagement and retention
  • Leading key recognition streams across the business and supporting broader recognition activity
  • Managing the employee discounts and engagement platform
  • Supporting the ongoing management and annual review of restaurant bonus schemes
  • Providing support in the governance and management of pension and associated benefits
  • Producing insight and reporting on reward activity, including benefits take-up and trends
  • Partnering with HR, leaders and stakeholders on reward related projects and the annual reward cycle
  • Providing specialist reward advice to employees, managers and HR Business Partners

  • Proven experience within Reward, Benefits or Total Reward
  • Confidence handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into clear messages
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects and working to deadlines
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach
  • Strong capability in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • The ability to work cross functionally and build trusted partnerships
