Take a look at our Google reviews and hear directly from the team who work with us.What we're looking forYou'll ideally have:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience working with children or young people in an education settingA calm, consistent and compassionate approachThe ability to establish positive relationships while maintaining clear professional boundariesStrong classroom and behaviour management skillsAn understanding of safeguarding and the additional vulnerabilities some young people may experienceThe resilience and flexibility to adapt your approach to individual pupilsExperience within SEND, SEMH, Alternative Provision, PRU or specialist settings would be beneficial. We also welcome applications from experienced mainstream teachers whose skills, experience and approach may transfer well into specialist education.We'll take the time to understand your strengths, experience and suitability before matching you with an opportunity.The roleDepending on the placement, you may:Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessonsAdapt teaching to individual learning and additional needsSupport pupils individually and in small groupsBuild trusted and consistent relationships with young peopleHelp pupils develop confidence, resilience and engagement with educationUse positive behaviour support and de-escalation strategiesWork closely with support staff and other professionalsFollow the setting and Ripple Education safeguarding procedures at all timesSafer Recruitment RequirementsWe take our responsibility to safeguard children extremely seriously.
