Job overviewWe are looking for a passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our Additional Resource Provision (ARP) Team working in resource provisions/units/bases within primary and secondary mainstream school settings. This is part of an exciting new transformation project. We have recently been commissioned to deliver services within all ARP's and Pupil Referral Units in Buckinghamshire. Current ARP Vacancies in:

You will be joining the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) ARP team who have a range of experience, and there will be opportunities to help shape the service. We have a strong commitment to the development of your clinical practice and professional skills.
Main duties of the jobThe SLT Service forms part of an Integrated Children and Young People's Therapies Service working closely with Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy as well as wider children and young people's services. This is a jointly commissioned service across health and education.

Person specification EXPERIENCE- Clinical experience in a variety of setting
- Evidence of specialist knowledge/skills resulting from clinical experience and CPD
- Demonstrates knowledge of specialist SLT assessment tools relevant to the client group
- Able to maintain intense concentration in all aspects of patient management
- Registered member of the Royal College of Speech And Language Therapists
- Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent
- Health Professions Council Licence to Practice
- Evidence of continuing professional development and personal development
- Attendance of relevant CEN Group
- Ability to work county wide
- Hold a valid driving licence
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of clinical governance/audit
- Demonstrates a high standard of record keeping
- Has good auditory and perceptual skills,
- Demonstrates well established knowledge of specialist SLT assessment tools relevant to the client group.
