Specialist SEN TA - Mornings, SEMH & Trauma-Informed

Smile Education is seeking an Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Hyde for mornings only. The role focuses on learners with SEN and SEMH needs, supporting emotional regulation and structured interventions.

You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO, using trauma-informed approaches and TEACCH-informed principles where appropriate, to provide calm, consistent support during transitions.
