What impact will you make?

Vind jij het leuk en uitdagend om op de hoogte te zijn van de meest recente ontwikkelingen binnen NL GAAP en die kennis te vertalen naar de praktijk? Wij zoeken een energieke, ambitieuze en collegiale accountant die het Professional Practice Department (PPD) van Deloitte in Rotterdam wil komen versterken. We bieden je een intern opleidingstraject aan tot specialist externe verslaggeving en hebben een collegiaal en betrokken team.

How do you do this?

• het behandelen van formele en informele consultaties;
• het voorbereiden en beantwoorden van vragen vanuit de praktijk;
• het toetsen van jaarrekeningen van cliënten aan wet- en regelgeving;
• het voorbereiden en deelnemen aan vaktechnisch overleg;
• het actualiseren van onze producten, waaronder de checklist externe verslaggeving, de modelrapporten en het handboek externe verslaggeving;
• participeren je in de vaktechnische staf van de Raad voor de Jaarverslaggeving.

• een passie voor én uitgebreide kennis van NL GAAP;

• je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal;
• kennis van IFRS is een pré.

What impact do you want to make?

Do you find it fun and challenging to be aware of the most recent developments within NL GAAP and to translate that knowledge into practice? We are looking for an energetic, ambitious and collegial accountant who wants to strengthen the Professional Practice Department (PPD) of Deloitte in Rotterdam. We offer you an internal training program to become an external reporting specialist and have a collegial and committed team.

How do you do this?

• handling formal and informal consultations;
• preparing and answering questions from practice;
• testing clients' annual accounts against legislation and regulations;
• preparing and participating in professional consultations;
• updating our products, including the external reporting checklist, the model reports and the external reporting manual;
• you participate in the professional staff of the Council for Annual Reporting.

• a passion for and extensive knowledge of Dutch GAAP;
• at least a number of years of experience as a (senior) manager;
• are you analytically and systematically strong;
• you have a good command of the Dutch and English language;
• knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
