Hours of work: 16 Hours per week

About the Role

As a Multi-Skilled Retail Assistant, you'll be an essential part of both the shop floor and our post office offering. From serving customers on the till to playing a key role in providing a wide range of Post Office services to our customers. Working in a Post Office branch, you'll deliver excellent customer service while ensuring transactions are accurate, compliant, and efficient.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll support different areas of the business.

Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing

You'll be involved in a mix of retail and food preparation duties, including:

• Delivering excellent customer service across the store, including till operation
• Replenishing stock and maintaining availability across the shop floor
• Keeping displays, counters, and food areas clean, stocked, and visually appealing
• Supporting with deliveries, stock rotation, and reducing waste
• Serving customers at the Post Office counter, delivering friendly and professional service.
• Reconciling daily transactions and cash, maintaining accuracy and security.
• Providing advice and guidance to customers on Post Office products and services.

• Customer-focused with a friendly and approachable manner
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and willing to learn new skills
• Comfortable working across different areas of the store
• Able to work in a busy environment and adapt to changing priorities
• A strong team player with a positive attitude
• Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Previous experience in retail or food preparation is beneficial but not essential
