About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, inspirational and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Spanish to Scholarship level, preparing students for examinations and successful progression to a range of selective senior schools.

The successful candidate will be passionate about languages and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning that inspires children to achieve their full potential. You will create engaging and challenging lessons that foster a love of Spanish, build confidence and encourage academic excellence.

As well as being an outstanding classroom practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the wider aims and values of the school, promoting the personal, social, emotional and physical development of every child. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing best practice and contributing positively to a supportive and ambitious school community.

This role would suit a proactive and dedicated professional with excellent interpersonal skills, a team-focused approach, and a genuine commitment to helping young people thrive and succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that support students to achieve their full potential, while assessing and tracking progress to inform future learning.
• Set, mark and provide feedback on classwork and assessments, preparing students effectively for examinations and other key milestones.
• Support the wider life of the school by accompanying educational visits, maintaining stimulating learning environments and celebrating student achievement.
• Carry out essential administrative duties, including attendance monitoring, record keeping, reporting and the effective management of learning resources.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and school leaders to develop curriculum plans, share best practice and contribute to school improvement.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, wellbeing, safeguarding and health and safety, providing pastoral support and guidance to help students thrive both academically and personally.

About You

Fluent in Spanish with excellent subject knowledge.

Qualified teacher with a recognised Teaching Degree.
