Sous Chef - Swarkestone

Location: Crewe & Harpur, Swarkestone, DE73 7JA - working in an award winning pub environment.

Pay: Up to £14 per hour. Hours: 35 per week on a reliable hours contract.

Career progression: CDP pathway to Head Chef.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, ensuring hot, quality food is prepared and presented to the pass consistently.
• Act as the second in command to the Head Chef, covering for them when needed.
• Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team, helping develop their skills.
• Maintain the highest standards of food and service.

Qualifications

• Previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef.
