Job Description
Job Overview

We're a multi award winning contract catering company, serving over 45,500 customers each day. We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Produce and develop the highest standard of food within required time and financial targets.
  • Step into the Head Chef's shoes when required.
  • Develop new initiatives to improve standards.
  • Research innovative ideas and contribute to all areas of food production, from menu planning and capturing food trends to delighting customers.
  • Communicate effectively, promote team spirit, company culture, and adjust work pace to business needs.
  • Gather customer feedback to measure success and support continuous learning through workshops and forums.
  • Improve kitchen management skills and grow in the role.
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience and education up to C & G 706 1 & 2, NVQ or equivalent.
  • Food Safety and Health and Safety certificates at level 2.
  • Working knowledge of COSHH & HACCP.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar sized operation.
  • Experience supervising others.
