Job Description

Take your culinary career to new heights at one of the world's busiest international airports. We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join a prestigious VIP Airline Lounge at London Heathrow Airport, delivering exceptional dining experiences to international travellers in a premium hospitality environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef with day to day kitchen operations.
  • Support the Head Chef in menu planning and cost control of the kitchen.
  • Write menus with a variety of food options for Lounge guests.
  • Enforce health and safety standards.
  • Manage the pass and ensure food quality standards.
  • Train kitchen staff and supervise kitchen stations.
Qualifications
  • Previous Sous Chef experience in a hotel, contract catering, restaurant, banqueting or similar environment.
  • Experience managing a minimum of 500 covers per day.
  • Experience in training and developing kitchen personnel.
  • Experience producing European and Continental cuisine.
  • Ability to work shifts to cover a schedule that includes weekends and Bank Holidays and between 0530 hrs and 2230 hrs.
