Job Description

The position of Sous Chef is available at a 4 star hotel which has a great reputation for offering its guests high quality dining. The hotel restaurant serves freshly cooked classic English dishes with a twist, seasonal dishes prepared to two AA Rosette standard. In this role of Sous Chef you will be joining a team of chefs working in the kitchen assisting with the responsibility for the fine dining restaurant and banqueting operations. You will also be required to assist with the management of the chefs and the day to day running of the kitchen including admin, staff rotas, financial performance, ordering and stock management.

Requirements

This role would suit a Sous Chef looking for a new challenge in their career. It is essential that all applicants have a proven track record of working in a high volume fresh food hotel operations, to a minimum of 1 Rosette standard. CVs will be considered from Sous Chefs that highlight experience working in busy kitchens serving multiple dining operations and busy banqueting operations for a minimum of 2 years and with a minimum of 1 Rosette experience.
