Sous Chef - Hospitality Group About the RoleMCG Recruitment are supporting a quality hospitality group in the search for a Sous Chef to join a friendly and well-established kitchen team. Our Sous Chefs are culinary creatives who play a key role in supporting the Head Chef, leading kitchen operations, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality dishes in a busy, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform consistently under pressure while maintaining excellent standards of presentation and taste.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations
- Help lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff
- Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented consistently and on time
- Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation standards
- Assist in developing new menu items and specials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well organised kitchen environment
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Strong culinary ability with focus on quality and presentation
- Solid understanding of cooking techniques and ingredients
- Experience working in a busy, fast paced kitchen
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency
- Calm and effective under pressure
- High attention to detail

Salary & Package- Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Salary: Up to £24.00 per hour INCL TRONC AND BONUS
Contract: 48 hours
