Who are we?

Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there's a kids' club for the little ones and a workspace.

We are looking for a Sommelier to join Matteo Montone (MS) and his team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £32,000 per annum based on a 45 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £28,560 per annum, plus a qualified estimate of £4,000 in gratuities and service charge . Please note this is a projected salary and OTE.

Our Sommelier team, headed up by Matteo Montone (MS), will provide exceptional wine knowledge alongside attentive and personalised wine recommendations. Duties include taking wine orders, sharing knowledge and suggesting wines for our members based on their personal tastes to create a bespoke and exclusive experience for every guest at Estelle Manor and will provide a luxury beverage service to the highest standard.

Who we are looking for?

• Passionate about Wine service within a luxury hotel or premium brand.
• Ideally, WSET Level 3.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members and guests.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experience with keen attention to detail.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.

About gratuities & service charge:

• Gratuities (tips) and service charge are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role.
• It is estimated that in 2026, our full-time employees can expect to receive in the range of £4,000 per annum in addition to their annual salary.
