The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to support the delivery of a major enterprise technology transformation in a cloud-first environment. You'll lead the design and delivery of scalable, modern solutions using cloud-native technologies, working closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and external delivery partners. This role requires strong technical leadership, the ability to work autonomously, and experience delivering complex solutions within large transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver enterprise-scale architecture aligned with technology strategy
Define technical standards, architectural patterns, and cloud-native best practices
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions
Manage architectural dependencies and technical risks across delivery teams
Ensure solutions align with security, governance, and compliance standards
Support documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring within engineering teams
Key Experience
7+ years' experience designing and delivering enterprise software solutions
Experience working within DevSecOps and cloud-first engineering environments
Background supporting large-scale technology transformation or modernisation programmes
Comfortable operating within complex stakeholder and multi-vendor delivery teams
Technical Skills
Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React
Expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, and serverless design
Experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway) and/or Azure
Knowledge of data platforms, integrations, and event-driven architectures
