Solution Architect - External Reporting

About the Role

As a Solution Architect in our External Reporting department, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture for our reporting solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, engineers, and fellow architects to design solutions that are compliant, scalable, and aligned with the bank's strategic goals.

Your focus will be primarily on the functional and business aspects of architecture - understanding reporting requirements, translating business needs into architectural designs by acting as a bridge between business and IT, and guiding teams in implementing these solutions. Meanwhile, technical knowledge allows you to engage more effectively in discussions around platforms, data flows, and integration.

Responsibilities

Create Project Start Architectures (PSAs) and solution outlines for reporting initiatives

Translate functional requirements into scalable and compliant architectural designs

Contribute to domain-specific roadmaps, principles, and standards

Support compliance and audit requirements through robust architectural design and decisions

Mentor and coach teams to implement architectural designs and support them throughout the delivery process

Your Profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business IT, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field

>5 years of experience in solution architecture or business analysis within the financial sector

Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks related to Credit, Liquidity, or Market Risk is a strong advantage

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Affinity with data platforms
